First I was brought here against my will. Never coming here and not know what to expect while all I wanted was sleep. After my beef empanada appetizer my interest was piqued. I had the shrimp mofongo and wow. It was such a glorious and delightful experience I can not comprehend how I did not know of this place. When ever I come this side of New York, New Jersey, or philly again this is a MUST. The waitress was polite but a little worried as we arrived as we were a group of 10 here for work, and needed separate bills. But it was all worked out smoothly and I can say I am completely satisfied with the world because of how good and filling and flavorful that food was. The mofongo was seasoned perfectly it's garlic sauce was a great mix that complimented it magnificently heightening it's flavor. Even the chips on the table came with a flavored but not spicy sauce that took the chips from average to tasty.

I had heard some questionable things of Pleasantville and glad we didn't listen and ended up here. The restaurant is on the street corner with a great Spanish grocery store across the street with a lot of tropical fruits. Plenty of parking and it's right by the main road.

Very delicious empanada. I would definitely drive from Brooklyn, NY just for these empanadas. The staff here are very friendly, they try to have conversations with the customer; I noticed if there was a returning customers they would know their names and such.
The empanadas are you so flavorful, the beef empanadas was so juicy and delicious. They offer two sauces, I highly recommend the spicy sauce. The potatoes empanadas was also very delicious; the potatoes was very creamy and fluffy. Not too heavy and fried to perfect!
This place is very bright with beautiful decor. The restaurant was very clean and offered a unique seating.

Food: Absolutely delicious. There is nothing more to add here- the food was hot, fresh, and so tasty! A bit of a hole in the wall (the inside is still pretty roomy) and half of the place is a bakery (which I still need to go back and try)!

Cost: The average cost is not too bad. If you don't want to spend too much then there are plenty of options of choose from that won't break the wallet! If you want to splurge a little, there are slightly pricer plates to choose from but nothing too expensive!

Environment : Very roomy and bright! The place feels energetic and the colors/decorations chosen to adorn the restaurant fits that feeling precisely.

Service: Nothing too special with service but all was prompt!

Uniqueness: I personally thought this was a very authentic feeling/tasting restaurant compared to other ethnic restaurants!

Th customer service was great. My review is based solely on the food. I order Lomo Saltado.... I got like 7 pieces of meat and the whole plate was just French fries... so for the price of that Plate, I felt like I did not get my money worth. My bf got the bandeja paisa and that was good!

Tried the empanadas here! Definitely worth stopping by. They have fresh juices too! We tried the chicken & potato, beef & potato, and beef & cheese empanadas. The beef & potato was probably my personal favorite. The cheese was way bigger, but overall not as tasty. Come here for a meal or something to snack on for a reasonable price. I'll definitely stop by again! The ladies at the front register and answering the phones were super nice.
